Majora's Mask
>>12179186It's a Nintendo game, so I must seethe.
>>12179186There'll never be another game like it ever again
>>12179186How did aonuma create this masterpiece then shit out wind wanker?
>>12179750Based.Fuck Nintendo!!!
>>12179547Most likely by accident, considering how the "improvements" he approved for the 3DS remake of MM completely ruined the experience.Only dummies who got their brain stuck on a permanent circa-2001 teen edgelord mindset would truly believe WW is anything less than an ok game though.
>>12179547It's clearly a Koizumi gameAnd what a surprise Koizumi didn't participate in the remake
>>12179186>Occult.Yeah it's for secret forbidden knowledge why anyone likes this crap
I don't like feeling stressed while playing this game. The timer has always ruined it for me. How the fuck am I going to explore if I have to hurry up; I like to take my time.
>>12179547Wind waker was rushed out the door. I imagine the planned scope of majoras mask was meticulously planned from the start so they could deliver on time.
>>12180151Go back during the next cycle idiot.
>>12180151Don't let the time control you, you control time.
>>12179209
>>12180287Thanks for seething.
>>12180151The psychological effect of the time limit does "pressure" some people, but in practical terms there's really no need to rush once you get the slowdown song. The dungeons are designed so the average player WILL at the very least get the dungeon's treasure in the first go (which you obviously keep for the next cycle, along with the dungeon's map and compass—and that will remove 3/4 of what you'd need to do again on your second try). Clearing the whole thing on your first try going blind is far from impossible, but the 3th and 4th dungeons are way more complex and it's less likely (again, for the average player). If you really can't deal with the time limit at all, you can always do one of the one-time temp saves and duplicate it from the menu so if you start fumbling around too much you can "simply" reset, duplicate it again, and reload one of the copies. But if you need to go to those extremes it's unlikely you'll get much out of the game anyway. It's fine to accept that the game is simply not for you.The time limit is part of the experience, and it played a major role in what made the game something memorable and special for some people. The remake proved that if you nerf it too much and largely remove the limitations the result just doesn't click and the game becomes a below-average OoT-style Zelda.
>>12180306Good luck trying to explain how with videogames every variable of the experience counts to a generation that routinely "plays" them by watching streams and YT longplays.
>>12180007>>12180306>3DS remakeIt'd be nice to think that since that handheld is out of the market newer generations may again discover the game through the N64 version available on the Switch online service, but since those versions let you use save states it amounts to pretty much the same thing sadly
>>12179186ass wings
>>12180503Do come back and try again if you recover from your mid-post stroke anon
>>12180306I honestly think people who get freaked out by the "time limit" have aspergers or some real anxiety or other neuroticism. The way they talk about it is crazy
When the floating talking skull said "Ba, ba baa baba baa baa" I really felt that
>>12179186Best 3d zelda
>>12179547From my understanding Koizumi was the weird arteur. Anouma is just a guy who can see a project to completion.
>>12179186>Majora's TrashBut I like you
>>12179547wind waker was good
>>12180007>Only dummies who got their brain stuck on a permanent circa-2001 teen edgelord mindset would truly believe WW is anything less than an ok game though. It isn't finished. The sailing was a chore most of the time. The treasure salvage wasn't fun. I would never touch it again without the QOL upgrade mods.
>>12180007>>12183998I don't hate the art style I just hate the fact sailing is boring as fuck and every time I okay I wish the game was set on land
>>12183784that's probably wind waker's biggest problem. it's just good.it had big shoes to fill following up back-to-back 10/10s, but just didn't quite live up.
>>12184015I love Wind Waker, I think it's one of my favorite Zelda games. It feels like people itt have just seethed for 2 decades that they didn't get a whole Zelda game from the 2000 SpaceWorld demo. Except they did, they got Twilight Princess but yet the eternal seethe continues. Wind Waker was imaginative and original and now all we get is derivative bullshit because consumers are retarded and won't shut the fuck up about dumb shit that pissed them off 20 years ago.
>>12184009yeah the gameplay really leaves a lot to be desired desu, could've cut the world's size down by half and been fine. earth temple was kino though you gotta admit
>>12184147Not the audience's fault developers get arrogant and forget they are making games for people not for themselves. They deserved every penny and status they lost with WW
>>12184147The Wind Waker's flaws aren't in it's artstyle or plot or anything like that, it's all in the gameplay.WW does not *feel* as good to play as OoT and MM.Link controls much worse.
LA and MM are the peak of the series
Getting to play this at release merely after months of finishing oot was the definition of surreal.
>>12184172Agreed, but for a different aspect. When I finally got around to playing, I didn't like how flat and empty it felt. Going square to square us nothing new, but each one was so big, and so empty.Maybe if there was more under the waves, but I found an ocean to be a bad Zelda setting.
>>12179186>Esoteric multi-million seller
>>12186840N64 was a failure according to people online, so I interpret it as it being an obscure, unknown, esoteric console.
>>12179538There's Metal Gear Survive but no one gave a shit about it because MGfags are actual idol worshiping niggers
>>12183784If it was your first gameIt definitely wasn't good and actively bad if you've played any other video game
Stop liking it
>>12187161It was a failure outside America
>>12189185You are a failure worldwide
Do you guys play this game without a guide? It seems like a lot of aimless exploring while doing shit over and over again. The game feels padded out the ass
>>12179186I am an occultist here. There's nothing occult in Nintendo games. There are others that do, however.
>>12189302it's pretty straightforward when you talk to NPCs and read what they're saying.every area you visit has a handful of pieces of heart to collect and a dungeon to defeat, sometimes a mini dungeon too.it's not that cryptic and it doesn't feel padded at all by the time the game's over, in fact, i wish there was more shit to do after it's all finished.
>>12185529This
>>12189352Link's Awakening had direct input from Mark Frost, co-writer of Twin Peaks, who always includes occult themes in his works. OoT and MM both have clear LA cues so at least by that connection alone it means it does have occult elements.
>>12189352if you were a real occultist you'd know there's occult themes in fucking everything
