>>12186234Sure. I tried Vanilla and that hack but personally I never really noticed much difference but I also wasn't paying attention and I grind in these games anyway. The boss music is cool. The battles can be fun for a bit as you discover new moves. I had a good time. Not blown away, but a good time.

If you're emulating get the patched version that fixes the exp gain, the western released adjusted the game so it arbitrarily takes longer to level up
>>12186234>original exp/balancingthe game is piss easy you don't need to make it easier. There's hardly a point in the game you would need to grind where 50% gold or 75% xp would matter. If anything getting less xp improves the game since you might actually die a couple times and need to use strategy.
>>12187769Looking it up it seems like the difference is clear in the Japanese titles. Legend of Dragoon uses the actual English word Legend (Rejendo) in Romaji while Legaia uses Densetsu. Probably just a common title due to the success of Zelda.

I remember renting this game and fully expecting it to be garbage because of the awful presentation and primitive graphics, but I absolutely loved it. Equipment being modeled on your character is nice and the party members were simple but charismatic.
