goddamn the controls in this are janky as hell
Yeah, unfortunately, the best versions of the Matrix games are the XBOX ones.
i wanted to like this game. last time i tried it i can't remember why i dropped it. maybe today i'll give it another shot.
the first 10 minutes of this game is very promising. all the kung fu and slow motion combat shit seems very cool. then you realize youve seen everything the game has to offer already and it gets stale quick. i do remember getting a kick out of the "hacking" at the time. i remember finding some little secrets here and there. i remember one was just morpheus saying "free your mind"
>>12211381As an Xbox fanatic I was shocked by how terrible Path of Neo looked on Xbox and PC compared to the PS2. The only game I ever played where the PS2 version mogged the Xbox one.
>me as a kid>"wow a matrix game">"oh there's no neo? forget it"
>>12211413Don't know what they were thinking. I can't recall any other (first entry) licensed game where you don't play as the film's main character.
>>12211413>me as a kid
>>12211490Well, it came out when I was 15. 15 year olds are kids.
>>12211376>give the Matrix license to retarded Amerijank devs because they made Memeworm JimNot very "groovy", is it?
>>12211408>hackingthe code is 942
>>12211376This game was objectively bad and yet I fucking loved it. Finished it both with will smiths wife and discount morpheus.
>if you're good enough at hacking, you can even modify the game's codeThis was such "you can do anything" bullshit but a cool idea
Everybody always bitching about Peter Molyneux being a hack. While the real culprit was this guy in the pic.
>>12212586There's only one Dave Perry that matters.
I never understood why there was a cartwheel with guns (R2+ X) and another one without guns (R2 + Square).
>>12211490anon you're a geriatric, I was 8 when that game came out now I'm 30
>>12211376I got it on release after work and the guide so I could read it on the dunny. Fun game, clunky driving sections but neat with the whole tie in to the 2nd film.
>>12211376I remember when I first played it I had some setting set in the graphics that made all round objects square. It was very weird to say the least.
>>12211426They were trying to use the games as supplementary material that showed content that was't from the actual films. They wanted the game and the movies and the animatrix to be one cumulative narrative where people had to consoom all of it to get the whole story. Like most things concerning the sequsls, they were too ambitious for their own good.
>>12212602To be perfectly honest, I think a head-to-head challenge where one participant has access to the game and the other doesn't isn't exactly in the spirit of fair play.
>>12213391i hate this because it's true. damn your truth speaking
