I unfortunately played Crisis Core first. Not a zoomie, born in 89, just didn't play FF7 at the time. Thought Crisis Core was great but then I got proper FF7 on the PS3 store and absolutely loved it. A great twist, all things considered. That whole sequence is great, especially when Sephiroth does like 9999 damage in battle in the flashback.

Then the Weapons awoke and Cloud was out of the Party and I still couldn't get what happened. I wasn't the brightest kid back then, but until middel, I didn't got the picture.
