This is a solid 7/10, OK game. We need more of those

I don't know if Im repeating lore that everyone knows but bioware wanted to release this on the 360 and Microsoft insisted they go ahead and finish it for the xbox old instead. And then it was completely dead on release for og Xbox.

I found this game in the literal trash

I like when the publishers don't have the balls to mention somebody else's IP on a box, leading to vague quips like that.

It feels unfinished and falls quite a bit short of being able to call itself Chinese KoTOR. Some of your party members are ridiculously one-note and boring, the combat gets old rather fast, and it's even got a really dumb flying minigame. I still have a soft spot for it though, there's just nothing quite like it.

Jade Empire was my favorite classic Bioware RPG. The voice acting is great. The setting is unique. Combat was alright, but at least you got to turn into a big fuckoff terracotta warrior while you beat up an old man.
