I've beaten SA many, many times, so there's no point in going for "achievements" or whatever. Not to mention that I don't have the time (or patience or the merest desire) to go for 100% anyway. I just play it when I get that itch again to play it because it's one of my comfort games. Now, I just play the PS2 original on PCSX2 because it's fucking convenient and nothing is comfier than the PS2 original. The PS2 original's weather effects are fucking comfy and I like having all of the original songs on the radio. And like I said, it's my comfort game, I play it to relax, so I like to sit back in my chair and just play it leisurely with a controller. I increase the internal resolution on my emulator just a bit and it's beautiful, and the weather effects still work perfectly.I don't bother with any collectables. The SMG is all you need for the most of the game, and I just do the ammo dupe bug. IDGAF, I've beaten the game legitimately more times than I can count anyway.
