Had this back in the day and liked it a lot. I had rented Flying Warriors for NES years earlier and didn't know there was another one coming out.
I don't know if I ever finished it though. Going to play it again soon.

Culture Brain's affinity for mishmashing incongruous genres gives some of their games a weird feeling. Like RPG-style battles in a single plane BMU is such an odd choice.
