Describe the DMD experience. I always play on normal.

I can't imagine playing that shit on DMD, normal is already hard as balls for me and that's coming from someone who mostly plays 80s and 90s games. I think I spent like an hour trying to beat the final Vergil fight AND I'm talking about Special Edition. And then people say that Ninja Gaiden Black is even harder but I still haven't played it
