>games you only played
I bought a pirated copy of that game as a kid because there weren't any better options in the store. I thought the game was terrible, so I went to return it. Unfortunately, being the stupid kid that I was, I accidentally said that I was returning it because I didn't like it. The Chinese woman who ran the store then told me to get lost.
you only played what?
>>12256025What a bitch, in every store I went not liking a game was a legit reason to return a game, you wouldn't get your money back but they would let you swap it
inb4 the truther stalkers show up
ESL thread.
it's "games only you played", foreigner.
>>12256020What were they thinking!?
>>12256034In her defense, it wasn't a store that specialized in games. Rather, it was a typical store that sold cheap Chinese products, including bootleg toys and plastic knickknacks.
it kinda sucks noticing a lot of threads here only exist because recent youtube videos
Speaking of /vr/, youtube, and today, some bastard posted a recent /vr/ thread an hour ago.
>>12256025>buying pirated gamesMan I miss those times. Once or twice a year, me and my brother traveled to the Czech Republic by train just to buy all sorts of burned movies, music and games. Right behind the border, they had tons of sales stands freely in the open where you could buy all kinds of legally questionable things.Sure there's no need for that anymore today, but browsing through those massive boxes of burned CDs and actually finding something you always wanted was pretty magic. Kinda crazy how these boarder markets were a thing for at least ten years until Czech officials decided to do something against them, guess they simply didn't care or got bribed or something.
>>12256210Did that retard finally learn how to use 4chan archives?
>>12256040Fuck off, bin Laden
>>12256025What would be the right answer that would get the Chinese pirated game seller to let you return the game?
>>12256362Tell him that your uncle works at ICE
Surprised he didn't made the connection of the exotic alien plants that were likely inspired by the Universal Studios E.T. ride (it was kino)
>>12256039Perhaps he meant that was the only game he ever played as a child.>>12256459I wonder if the Universal Studios execs are counting the days until Spielberg dies so they finally can tear down that ride and build another screen ride.
>>12256361Imagining a world where Bin Laden, known lover of E.T, bought a copy of this game and started bawling his eyes out when he saw this message.
>>12256691Yeah, well maybe he shouldn't'a been such a jerk!
>>12256038Illiterate post
>>12256020wow i didnt even know about this
>>12256020Apparently Bimmy is so checked out that he won't even shave for avgn episodes anymore.
>>12256765He had it in another video recently too, he's probably filming something that requires it.
>>12256361I'm going to be honest, that was the first time I actually guffawed at something in an AVGN episode in many, many years, though that was mostly because I was expecting Fred Fuchs instead.
>>12256804Everyone was waiting for it. The fact the first word you see is "Fuck" also played into it.It was a good episode. The truther redditors must be seething right now
Was the hidden message really only just discovered in August?
>>12256210Depending on who the leaker is or if the leaker actually finished the game himself I might have been the first non dev to beat splatterworld, which is pretty cool.
>>12256020The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Game Boy.It's a surprisingly decent and relatively short MetroidVania, making it perfect for a portable since it's very pick up and play, most people hate it because they get stuck in the 1st area, not knowing what to do, but a picture in the manual makes it pretty clear what it's expected from you, and the later parts are not as cryptic, overall I love replaying this one.
>>12256691You're closer than you think. That's when Bin Laden swore off western media for good and became a weeb
Never met anyone else that has played it other than the kid that showed it to me.Proto-ancestor to games like Exanima and Half-Sword.
How about game consoles only I played. My parents were Mormon doctors. This was the only vidya I was allowed to have until I moved out in 1999.
>>12259351I played it because I read the dismemberment was cool (it is).
>>12259361Any good games? I just picked one up recently.
>>12256020What the fuck else would you do with a game?
>>12259408 There were six games for it. They were all educational and played like they were from the 70s. I hated it. All I wanted to do was play Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania, or Ninja Gaiden
>>12259579Um, actually, the Socrates has a CPU that runs at 3.57 MHz, that's almost 0.30 times FASTER than the SNES CPU!Your parents dodged a bullet and bought you a better system than Shittendo ones!
>>12256264I remember going on vacation in Lithuania when I was 11 and naively bought pirated PS1 games from some flea market. Once I got back to America, I put it in my unmodded (and obviously NTSC) PS1 and was bitterly disappointed.
>>12257330>>12256035Alright fellas, i am actually out of the loop, who are these truthers?
>>12259971A subreddit that started as anti-Matei, then anti-Screenwave and now they are anti-James and pro-Mike and also like the screenwave guys in an ironic way.Mostly young AVGN ex-fans redditors
>>12256234looks kino. thanks for sharing
>>12256804It felt like a classic episode of AVGN.
>>12256043>shits and pisses her pants over youtube any chance she gets>yet also has a vast in-depth knowledge of all the retro gaming youtube content creators and knows when a rare game gets mentioned by one of themcare to help us make sense of this sis?
>>12256020>yo let's make a roller coaster tycoon clone but for the PS2, remove half of the game, and generally make it 10x shittier/frustrating to use
>>12261178Man I can only imagine how tedious the controls in that game must be.
>>12256804I thought it was going to be Fred again too
>>12256020
>>12261994rude
>>12256020Barbie: Explorer on PS1.It's a clone of Tomb Raider and Crash Bandicoot, and it plays as awkward as it sounds... but I still enjoy it for what it is, wish the sequel wasn't cancelled.
>>12256020>James crashes another retro market Kek
>>12265252truthers seething
>>12263825I had this on a demo disc as a kid. It had the section where a yeti was rolling snowballs down a bridge, and I think a platforming section in a jungle river. As a five or six year old, I really liked it.
>>12256020I see you watch Oddheaderjesus new captcha is retarded
Has anyone actually played PowerSlave? Somehow it got a remake, I don't know how many people were asking for that.
>>12266852Yes it's often discussed on /vr/.Saturn version is the best one
>>12266856My mistake, I don't come here often and I don't see it discussed anywhere else.
the first game is pretty obscure, but almost no one played the sequel so this fits right in this threadcombing GTA open world elements with banjo kazooie is a really weird concept, but it works surprisingly well here
