Post games that you didn't like but wanted to.
Huge nostalgia for it but even the remaster fucking stinks.
Soul Reaver. It looks amazing but it's not any fun to play.
>>12259517>>12259517>>12259517This game makes me physically discontent and I have no idea why anyone praises it. It's extremely generic. You could find any game in the last 20 years that has done more with it's setting and been more fun to actually play.
>>12259517>wanting to like somethingWhat disorder causes this?
>>12259607peer pressure of global scale
>>12259604>physically discontentHow?
>>12259517Metal Gear Solid franchise.
>>12259607Came to post this.
>>12259604what a vague complaint
>>12259607you ever try something at someone's suggestion and it disappoints you despite your optimism? that's what op is talking about, the optimism that it might be good. it's the opposite of when you try something expecting not to like it and are pleasantly surprised.
They shill it like it's Castlevania when it's actually Zelda II
>>12259619This. I played Ocarina for the first time around 2009, constantly reminding myself that it was supposed to be the greatest video game of all time. Ended up dropping it because I was not captivated by the game after several long sessions and it felt like I was forcing myself to find pleasure in it out of obligation.
>>12259607Because something looks cool/interesting but ends up not being fun to play. Not that deep

DewprismI liked the story, and the characters, I really did, but the game fucking sucks.
>>12260010This happened to me because I actually like the other zelda games, both older and newer, but the ones on 64 in particular are a chore to play.
>>12259604Is this that mutt girl from HL2
I'm a big Druaga fan, but this game just sucks so much, no wonder it flopped in the arcades.
>>12259607It's a way to say that you might like some part of the game, maybe the designs or the music, or even the gameplay in general terms, but there is something else preventing you from appreciating it the game as a whole.

>>12259517I cannot get into Metroid Prime for the life of me. I quite like the 2D games though.
>>12260780I only played this for that a hardcore rpg gamer badge. It's not good but man, it was a interesting experience. I owe Falcom, Enix, and Nintendo for taking this and making this infinitely better.>but what aboutonly Super Hydlide is good.
>>12260126The jews
>>12262273You're not alone, only good thing about the Prime games are the lore and setting. But if it was a TPS with a design closer to i think a more open-ended Dread or Super, id love the series more. The gameplay makes me wish 90s iD Software was making it but of course, the project only happened because Jeffery Epstein was spending so much of that mario moolah.
This slop
Rampage Through Time. It's like the other Rampage games but with themed levels! Too bad the game is if I remember correctly not only designed to be played with 3 players only but said players must be AI controlled. Theres GameShark codes to get rid of the AI in a debug mode but it's still really stupid that the game is gimped removing some levels if you play 3-player with actual humans and true single player is locked to a debug menu. And then the mini-games are mandatory too you have to win them or it's gameover. It's not a bad idea for a Rampage game it even has a final boss but the execution is so fucking bad and yeah the 3 monsters on screen fuck with the enemy spawns too so it's also boring when you aren't tard-wrangling the AI.
>>12262528If I'm correct levels like ScumLabs and I think Jurassic are locked in multiplayer because their mini games are single player only.
>>12262540Here's the final Boss the Mutant Buster.
>>12262551Oh yeah and they doubled down on this unfunny guy too. I think it goes on even longer than the intro for Rampage 2 Universal Tour.
Resident Evil is so fucking cool. I love the characters, the story, the atmosphere, even the clunkiness.I just hate getting fucking lost and having to keep running back and forth to get one item I need then put it back. I beat RE1 and have been meaning to play RE2 'any day now' for quite a long time now.

I wanted to like The legend of Zelda and Metroid but I always end up getting lost.
