>>12260413Been playing Zero Mission on Nintendo Switch Online.
Typically either an original GBA or SP (001). I'd like to get a 101, because the colors look way too washed out on the 001.
>playwhat?
mGBA on phone with a gamepad attached.Really wish emulation on the Vita was good.
>>12260413On the Steam Deck. Yes, it feels fucking weird playing GBA games on the giant thing, but I got everything on there. Alternatively I got a modded PSVita and a modded n3DSXL with GBA games too.
>>12260413How do you get your trying too hard to fit on shitpost topics nowadays?>AI>other shitposters who use AI
>>12260448>How do you get your trying too hard to fit on shitpost topics nowadays?Waaa, waaa, a 3DS thread cosplayed as a GBA thread that does't break the rules. Not retro, not retro!!! Waaa, waa.Anon, have you seen the replies?>Nintendo Switch>A phone>Steam Deckhere is your retro boardNow, stay on topic, if you please? How do you fucking play your GBA games.
Retroarch on a modded Switch is pretty great for GBA, WarioWare Twisted plays perfect with a pro controller and even has rumble, all without prior setup. It also has shaders and borders if you're into that > NERD's Sloopwtf is that
>>12260467>wtf is thatOfficial Nintendo Switch Online emulator made by Nintendo European Research & Development and Panasonic. The only emulator to date that passes the AGS Aging Cartridge, afaik.https://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/Sloop
>>12260413I have two GBA SP AGS-001 and a couple games but I mostly play on my 3DS since I dont have a flashcart
>>12260413d-pad on my GBA stopped working a while back and i'm too lazy to set up my gamecube GBA player. so i just emulate with mgba these days.
>>12260413I’ve played the GBA games I like to death and there doesn’t seem to be many hidden gems.
I lost my GBA + GB Super Mario World 2 on an international flight. Very sad. At least I still have my GB pocket and other games. Overall I emulate on a chinkheld
>>12260413mGBA on Wii
In the GameCube with the GBA adapter and a genuine Nintendo Wavebird controller
>>12260735>I lost my GBAI'm terrified of losing my old handhelds, or rather, of them being stolen. OP pic never will leave home. Which is sad because it defeats the purpose of being portable. But they are way too valuable, both financially nowadays and sentimentally, to risk taking them out into this chaotic world we live in.>Overall I emulate on a chinkheldPossibly the best for outside the home. I simply transfer my save file, and then return it to the original cartridge with GB Operator.
>>12260451>How do you fucking play your GBA games.Nintendo Switch, my phone or Steam Deck
mGBA on PC and I whip up the DS when I'm on holidays, which is not often.
>>12260537There is a ton of shovelware on GBA.
>>12260413Game Boy Player on Game Cube, but using the improved homebrew software through swiss.

Does the Visteon have video out capabilities for playing gba games on a different screen? I know it does have a video out port on it.
>>12260413I play on my glacier translucent GBA I got when I turned 6, no backlight and all. Just as God intended.
>>12261314Yes. Composite and S-Video. Interlaced only.
>>12260413r36s
On the original hardware
>>12260413My original model Nintendo DS, but only because my DS Lite has a collapsed A button which I intend to fix one on of these days, and also my GBA SP (AGS-101)'s R button doesn't work well. I might try to fix that at some point as well.
Either on a 101, or on the Game Boy Player inserted into an unmodified Japanese GameCube.
either on DSlite or gamecube+CRT
>>12260413I've been using my NDS Lite with a Chisflash 1.1 from Aliexpress. It works great.
>>12260413mGBA Steam Deck. I need a new screen for my GBA SP since a shell swap went wrong.
>>122604133DS, but that's just because it's where I play all of Nintendo's handheld libraries as well as any console 4th gen and below.Convenient little device to have, it is
>>12261427That's neat. I guess that would make this supperior to gba player if you are using the default boot-up disc. Too bad you need that shitty controller though to even use it.
>>12260467give me the low down on whats possible on a modded switch, i ordered one of those pico chips for a lite i picked up for my mother. been a couple weeks and still waiting for it to arrive. what systems can it emulate well?
>>12260413da brick!
Never had any hardware for GBA except the original DS, which is what I have always used
>>12260413On my smartphone or tablet with telescopic controllers.
>>12260413On my PS3 and R36S
depending o how i'm feeling, or if i want to play romhacks, either on my SP, my micro, or my rgb30.
>>12260451>>12260413why, my chink boy of course :)hahah! :Dit's my chink boy :) hahahITT: How do you play your GBA library nowadays - my answer is, of course, my chink boy :Dhahaha!
>>12262718Ok, nigger
>>12260413Nowadays, mGBA. It's just way too convenient. I could go from shitposting one second to playing Simpsons Road Rage for the GBA in seconds without leaving my seat
>>12262083The skinny... if your willing to overclock things can get dicey on n64 psp and dreamcast. games will run here or there. N64 you can play pretty reliably, only a few games have some problems mostly rareware shit. Dreamcast i really only got SA 1 & 2 and Rayman 2 so idk if thats an ok benchmark. Same with psp i doubt something like the god of war games or gta is gonna run ok. But ape escape and daxter run absolutely fine. Side note ps1 runs fine.
RG28XX with Perfect_GBA overlay.works. . . perfectly
