anything gen 5 or newer will never feel retro to me because I grew up playing it. the only true retro is the stuff that already came out before I was old enough to game.

To me a game being retro isn't an issue it's only an issue when it feels outdated as in it aged poorly mechanically speaking like a shitty game tha sucks ass except you know retro instead of modern and more painful because it was actually relatively average or even good in it's time.
