Why does everyone hate gen 3 now
>>12262029Name ten people from within the last month.Nobody post until OP provides ten examples.
>>12262029All it takes is for a few obsessed people to be loud to make it seem that "everyone" hates it. Not sure if this is the case or not, just keep that in mind. No, backseat janny, we aren not going to take this to /vp/ (which stands for virgin pedophiles). We like to have conversations here.
>eight Pokémon threads in the catalogYou idiots have an entire board dedicated to your franchise, retard. Stop shitting up this board.>>>/vp/
>>12262040See >>12262038Apply next time applications are open. Until then shut the fuck up.
>>12262040Its not a /vp/fag, it's the one guy that also spams Mortal Kombat shit.
>>12262056You can tell its not a /vp/er because they're trying to have an actual conversation.
It's the weakest classic Pokemon gen, at least from a single player perspective. For me personally I've never found the world to be compelling to go through and progression just feels off. It feels unfinished and rushed in a weird way that's hard to put my finger on but it's definitely the region design at fault I can confidently say that much. I think it's simply the lack of any areas feeling distinct or important if that makes any sense. Each town and city in the game just feels the same and doesn't compel me to spend any amount of time in them and get a feel for things. Which is funny because on the surface none of the early Pokemon games do this, and I don't want them to either I hate how new Pokemon games focus on the story I really couldn't care any less and I just want to play the game, but some intangible element is missing. They try a few times, Sootopolis city definitely looks unique and like it should be cool, but it just feels dinky in a weird way. And then theres all the areas like the sunken ship or Pacifidlog that you don't ever need to go to and don't really get anything good from if you go out of your way, but seem like in maybe the planning stage of the game probably were meant to be significant. Meanwhile in Gen 1 and 2(and 4 but not vr lol)I feel the significance and soul of each and every location, they're all very distinct even if at times equally as basic and almost seem like real places. Maybe I just sound schizo but I swear there's just something missing man everything feels off.
>>12262036I liked it last month, but this month I do not like it.
>>12262029I love it but is easily the weakest of the retro gens, still better than anything that came after it though
>>12262029I'm looking for a specific Pokemon generation to "main". Gen 1 is classic but full of bugs, Gen 2 has a vast map and seemingly no downsides, Gen 3 has the best artstyle and the last to be in 2D, Gen 4 was the one I played the most but I'm not completely satisfied with the 3D artstyle. What criteria should I use to determine the best gen?
Pendulum swing. Now is the time to hate on late millennial/zillennial media. Uncslop finna slop slop slop type shiiii.Just how it is.
>>12262132>What criteria should I use to determine the best gen?Postgame content is the metric I use.
Best gen ever
OP keeps bumping the thread with replies to himself but has yet to reply earnestly to >>12262036
>>12262174Honestly 4chan should append "(same)" to any reply to your own posts.
>>12262141yeah let's base it on something the vast majority of people will never interact with
>>12262214If the average player wants to skip over the most engaging part of the game, that's on them.
>nowHideous designs, looks like Digimon but worse
>>12262141Does that mean Gen 2 is the best? How does GSC compare to their remakes HGSS?
>>12262186We used to have a unique post counter for threads, but they removed it for no fucking reason. Now theres no way to prove is someone is samefagging or not
