Atari should make an FPGA version of this thing with a mechanical keyboard. Everyone is in love with the new Commodore 64, hell even IGN gave the thing a perfect score and uploaded a 20 minute video glazing the thing. If the guys running Atari today have any brains they'll do the same thing with one of their old computers.
No love for Atari huh
>>12262841The Atari 800 version of Blue Max fucking rocks. It's the definitive version, IMO.
>>12262587They already did, Or rather, they licensed the 8-bit computer line out to some bong land company that put out a Raspberry PI in a tiny Atari 400 shell and a custom game loader menu.>https://retrogames.biz/products/the400-mini/>A half-sized version of the distinctively styled Atari 400, emulating the whole 8-bit Atari range, including the 400/800, XL and XE series, and the 5200 home console.
>>12262909>They already did, except they didn'tLetting shitskins on this website was a crime against humanity
>>12262909That's lame as hell.
>>12262587Would anyone even care? I had one back in the 80's when everyone I knew had either a Commodore 64 or a ZX Spectrum.
>>12262587>Atari should make an FPGA version of this thing with a mechanical keyboardThe Atari 8-bit computers are great but are they popular enough for this to sell? The C64 is always a no-brainer since it's the most popular 8-bit computer ever
>>12263056>>12263080Considering that Compute's Gazette has a regular Atari section, yeah I'd say there's some dedicated fans.
