has some good /vr/ ever made given you more appreciation of modern games?I bought dark souls on the switch a little bit ago. i never really got very far the first time i played it like a decade ago, but at the start of the year i went back and played the king's field trilogy on ps1 and the whole fromsoft vibe just kind of clicked with me, so decided to return to dark souls.in 10 days I've put 95 hours into it, and beaten it with three different characters. currently running through ng+2 on a pyromancer. it's fucking fun as hell.
No, the more retro I play makes new games look less and less appealing. I haven't played a new game in any major capacity since 2017 and I'm fine with that.
