anybody got experience with them? I got them on my back catalogue, and wanna know any tips or whatever I should look into when I get started. obscure fantasy-WW2 naval combat games.

I loved this series. It's too bad they discontinued it. NO: Commander isn't as good as the other two games in the series since it's top-down only but it's alright.

from running the Japanese wikipedia article on it through MTL, it seems the franchise has two distinct series, the Warship Commander games and Warship Gunner games. WSC are focused on commanding an entire flotilla, whereas the WSG titles are about controlling individual ships. Besides the three titles released in the west, there's a further half-dozen that never left Japan (mostly PC titles).
