I will never not be mad at developers who were still releasing simplistic puzzle games for console generation 5 and up
It was always a massive disappointment as a kid to rent a game like Kirby's Avalanche only to find out it was a puzzle game and not some epic adventure on a mountain.
>>12263115My brother and his friends were obsessed with this game. Hell they still played it well into the wii years. He moved onto tetris and mostly plays that now.
>>12263134Why didnt you read the box, or look at the pictures?
>>12263115Pic not related, right? This game fucking ruled as a kid.
>>12263206Sometimes at a rental store they don't have the OG box to look at and have the generic store box with the games name on it.
>>12263115PdP and its clones/reskins are all but simplistic.
>>12263115faggot
>>12263208It's the exact same game as SNES version, but with a bunch Pokemon anime assets added to background, it's double lazy
If you can't find enjoyment in a simple puzzle game, you don't like video games. It's that simple.
>>12263243t. couldnt beat mewtwo
>>12263115And yet I'm over here with a mindset that I'll only consider picking up a Switch 2 if they make a new Panepon for it.
>I am angry that genres I don't like exist
>>12263115Pokemon Puzzle League and Challenge were the peak of Panel de Pon and I will not stand for this slander because your IQ is room temperature and you don't know how to play the game.
>I will never not be madSounds like a good reason to talk about that with a therapist.
Puzzle games died when they started pandering to autists who can see into the future 30 turns in advance to prepare the ultimate gigacombo to conquer them all
>>12263243It's very lazy yes, but the game at its core is good enough to transcend that.
>>12264203Unironically skill issue
>>12263115AWWW POOR BABY
>>12263240Terse.>>12263115They keep selling 'em because we keep buying 'em.
>>12263115This and Puzzle-Dama were the elites on N64.
