Is that possible?
>waah i don't want to engage with the game design !!!Pathetic
>>12263679You can use a cheat code to freeze time, but you'll need to disable it to progress because the game revolves around events happening at certain timeframes.Just play the reverse song of time, as long as you don't completely suck that will give you plenty of time. Don't chicken out on the one game with actual time travel, it's fun.
The the days only affects bosses and sidequests, just ignore it for general play and make use of the dying of time to rest the cycle and reverse setting of time to slow time.
>>12263679there is no 3 day limit there are infinite days. When 3 days elapse in the game the game doesnt end. Did you play it?
>>12263679There is that observatory glitch.
>>12263679There's a setting in one of the PC ports that stops time inside of dungeons.Honestly, just use a walkthrough for your first playthrough and you'll see for yourself that there is way more than enough time to fully complete an area of the game in one cycle.>finish deku cycle, reset time>finish swamp and woodfall, reset time>finish mountains and snowhead, reset time>finish pirates fortress and great bay, reset time>finish ikana and stone tower, go to the moon and finish the game(YOU) control the clock! Each 3 day cycle takes nearly 3 hours, more than enough time to fully clear an area.
>>12263963 (me)Forgot to include>finish graveyard and romani ranch, reset timein between snowhead and great bay.
So you don't want to play the game
>>12263679Oh you're one of those. >I wanna get immersed in the games world!Kinda people huh? The ones who stand still staring at the screen? Okay try this.Catch an item in a bottle so that the bottle is in link's hands.Hold target (Z/L).With the bottle still in your hand, press and hold R to shield. On the frame after beginning to hold R, press the button for the bottled item.
>i don't want to be forced to play how the game designers want. i'll carve my own path, play by my own rules !!!Holy based OP
>>12263679i'm so glad i don't have autism, since i got easily immersed into the world of Termina and gave no shits when it came time to reset and continue the adventure on a new cycle.
>>12263751Not OP, but I have it on Gamecube, but even Nintendo says that it has glitches, should I play it anyway? I've never played it. I love OoT tho.Do I need to get the N64 cart, or is my collection disc exaggerating possible issues because Nintendo worries like a 19the century old bitty?
>>12264048The Gamecube version is the worst version of the game outside of the 3DS version. It has weird slowdowns in a lot of places, bad sound emulation and is prone to randomly crashing (causing you to lose upwards of 3 hours of progress).Outside of buying a different copy of the game, I'd suggest emulating the N64 version or trying out one of the PC ports.
>>12264078I appreciate your input because losing hours and hours of progress doesn't sound too cool.Thank you! (I will emulate it.)
i understand your pain. time limits of aby kind stress me out, toojust watch a longplay on youtube
>>12264048>>12264078Emulating the game is unironically worse than the crash prone gamecube version. If you have a Wii consider getting the VC version.
>>12263679I get the impression that people who complain about the 3 days don't know that it continues afterwards and that we restart the 3 days indefinitely.
>>12263683
>>12264089>If you have a Wii consider getting the VC version.I do have a Wii, but no time machine so there's no way for me to put it on there outside of ROM injection which usually messes things up, or have things improved?
>>12264104>which usually messes things up, or have things improved?jailbreaking your wii has always been easy and bricking it is only possible if you are retarded.
I always played the song of double time and that usually was plenty to complete a least one area
>>12264108I dun broke it oudda game jail many eons back, but how do I fixin' ta play it from the VC, pardner?
>>12264078I swear that crashing issue has to be ntsc specific or something. Never had any issues with pal version.
>>12264110Inverted Song of Time but yeah, even on my first playthrough I was able to clear each dungeon by starting them with time slowed at the start of a fresh Day 1.
