Underrated American gem that never got any respect for pioneering non-linear action.
>>12264313nobody responding to your dumb threads on /tv/?
>>12264313It is quite good and follows the movie closely which games of this era rarely do, they always have to throw in some made up levels to pad like sewers or a park and have some non-sensical enemies usually aggressive animals or sentient everyday objects.
>>12264313It's an interesting take on the source material though I wouldn't call it totally successful.
>>12264313NES Die Hard was okay but PC Engine Die Hard was more fun
just in time for christmas!
Die Hard NES would be amazing if you could use two sticks for movement and aiming.
>>12264313I kinda like this game. Has dynamic events that lead to different endings but I'm having trouble trying to get the roof to explode, save the survivors on the roof, and stop the car from being blown up. So far I have not seen these happen.
>>12264575Now that you say that...it would be pretty cool
>>12264313>non-linearMore like, completely incoherent.
>>12264575Sounds like you have a romhack to make
It's a christmas game
>>12264313There's just no way anyone outside of one youtuber (bless him) that believes that. Die Hard for the NES is just a quick cash-in movie tie-in game that has no redeeming qualities. Everything looks like crap and it plays like crap.
>>12265432Or they could just play Smash TV or Total Carnage (its sequel) and be far happier. Maybe do a ROMhack of that where they place Die Hard skins on Total Carnage. With that game it can work. Smash TV, technically yes, but it'd look dumb since they never go outside in that one.
Do you need to know the plot of the movie to know what to do in this game?
>>12268175Yes.
>>12267779Based thanks for telling me about total carnage
>>12268192No problem. Try not to look much up in the game so you won't be spoiled. It's one of those games. Enjoy!
>>12268197Lol
>>12264572
>>12268586that's dynamite deka anon
>>12267779>mash TV or Total CarnageFor me? its RoboTron
>>12264313Was too ambitious for the limits of the console it was on.
