whoever first recommended the RPC to me in this thread I thank you. my first real handheld since the DS and Im having a ton of fun playing all my favorite NES games on this thing. the screen is beautiful and nearly ideal for 8:7 chads such as myself. the only thing Im mad about is that it cant handle advanced shaders like lottes and royale whatsoever so I have to resort to just an RGB filter and simple scanlines but whatever, it still looks great

Everything is smart enough to prevent damage. The problem would be if the device is asking for more power that the charger can deliver. Is the rg 40xx v the best for parasite Eve and RE1-3, plus SNES/Gen/GBA? The single stick seems good for ps1, I can’t remember anything using duals until ps2. Even now I think Minecraft is the only thing this could play that requires dual joysticks. I use the right stick as a crappy C button replacement when ‘muing (short for e”mu”lating) on my Mac. Seems like n64 would be a nightmare on any of these devices, but I guess no one’s figured out how to emulate the Silicon Graphics chips in them (SGI). I like the n64 RE2 best because the randomizer mode is fun (ammo is randomized, 48 shotgun shells in the locked desk is always fun).
I have decided not to buy a handheld, I'll just wait for a couple more months see what happens, I'm willing to risk 10% higher prices because of ram and cpu drama.So far, there is nothing that would compare to my 3ds.

The plastic used on the V model feels nice at least, but the problem I have is ironically because it has one analog stick it can get stuck in your pocket.
