I recently began playing the Crash Bandicoot games. I cleared the first one and got 100% in it, it was kind of amateurish but I had a good time with it.Crash 2, though, I'm enjoying less. I finished the main story and while it's neat that Crash has more moves he can do, it has kind of huge number of gimmick levels (and the last boss was really easy). And now I'm working on 100%, but it's kind of less fun in that regard, too. There's so much "uhh actually to 100% this level, you have to warp to it from another level, or you have to beat the hard path and then go backwards through the other path and then go back forwards," and on and on. And then on top of that, some crates are hidden offscreen and some warps are in places you'd NEVER check with no indication of them. Still pretty fun though.
>>12267146I thought the story was silly and fun, but yeah that final battle really... Wasn't much hah. But the final battle of 1 was also easy, I beat that one on my first try.

>>12267118Crash 2 is super easy to 100%, with very very few off-screen crates compared to Crash 1.The secret warps are all ones you'll find with just a little exploration, as opposed to some of the utter bullshit secret warps in Crash 3.I do agree that some of the backtracking ones are a bit annoying, but other than that it's way easier to 100% than 1 and way less bullshit than Crash 3.Unless you're doing the remake with the time trial relics. The levels are so not meant for speedrunning, getting the right cycle on some levels like Spaced Out is a miserable experience.
>>12267118>huge number of gimmick levelsboy you will not have a good time with warped
>>12267645I 100% Crash Warped thrice and I still have no idea how I was supposed to find Eggipus Rex.
>>12269354Even if you removed those levels from Warped, I doubt the game would improve that much considering how it takes a nose-dive in level design and difficulty. Not to mention how broken you are by the time you reach the fourth and fifth (which should be the hardest by the way)
>>12267118>it has kind of huge number of gimmick levelsWhat are you referring to? Surely you're not confusing this with 3?
>>12267645>secret warps in Crash 3Ok, this is just a bot thread intentionally conflating the games to induce schizophrenia in the goyim or some gay shit.
But yeah, 3 is completely unplayable gimmick trash with (((feminism))) interspersed not only are you playing as a Strong Woman Pilot, but Crash falls on his face whenever you play as her. 2 is the most complete package, and 1 is the claim to fame for tryhards.
>>12270734Lots of surfing, lots of running from boulders, and the fucking jetpack stages in the last world.
>>12270953>Lots of surfingYou just hallucinated that because you're a worthless jeet-coded globohomo bot.
>>122709531 had boulder levels toowarthog levels (bear in 2)same shit, different gamebut 3 did have an increase in the gimmicks. i mean the biplane shit was just stupid. Only thing i liked was the underwater bits
