Changes in my life always make me nostalgic for the past. Anyway, the first year I was married, my wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas so I put a few old SNES games I didn't own on a list. She got me Demon's Crest, complete.
And I'll tell you, opening a "brand new" SNES game on Christmas morning made me feel like a kid again in the way nothing else really could.

This year Santa got me some gameboy knockoff with 100+ 8-bit games for the lulz.
Dunno how retro they are but they all look like directly ripped from some chinese famiclone and "work" with varying results.

I was gifted a 20 bucks Steam Card and I bought Earthion, Star Wars Rogue Squadron and Star Wars Shadows of the Empire. Already beat Earthion, it's cool, but I plan to replay it. As I said in another thread fuck the PC version of Rogue Squadron for its awful mouse support. PC version of Shadows of the Empire is cool though, loving it.

my parents have no idea what to get me so I usually buy what I want and then they wrap it and give it back later. They have a set amount they spend so if it goes over that I just cover the difference.

I asked for a Mossberg Shockwave and I plan to use it to kill myself on new years.
