I was so hyped for this franchise. They really messed up by not releasing everything at the same time. By the time the anime hit, it was different from the game, the game was now old news and I was now a teen who didn't care about an edgy kid protagonist in a pokemon rip off.
If handled correctly I still feel it could've been a huge hit. Anime is not too bad either but it feels like a totally different vibe from the game.

Anyone know if the Japanese GBA port ever got a translation? It's the same game so you'd think it'd be easy to make a patch with the text from the english version but I don't know shit about romhacking so maybe i'm ignorant to how difficult it is.
