Just got my DSi. Honestly it's a bit underwhelming. The D-pad is comically small (what were they thinking?) and while the games definitely look and play better than on 3DS, they still look pretty bad in comparison to emulation. The dimensions of the console are very similar to the RG-35XXH, but the latter is infinitely more comfortable to use. This form factor is definitely superior to the larger models, though. The DSi is far more comfortable than my 3DSXL (which also has a comically small d-pad). The decision to make all the chink clones take after the XL models is quite odd.
