Hey, the 'remaster' of Star Fox/Lylatt Wars 64 was pretty fun. How come no one talks about it?

I did appreciate that they deliberately made the voice acting over-the-top but, after hearing those uncompressed lines from SF64 in the leaks, I don't see why they couldn't just resample the old voices and bothered rerecording everything.

Remasters are fucking garbage and I don't need irrelevant secondaries in my life.If you can't appreciate the original then you don't enjoy retro games, you just want to wear the identity as a badge while actually avoiding the technology and development philosophies of the era. The only real good thing about this remake was it's heavily revamped multiplayer with bots as an option.Also was the first Star Fox in a while to break a million, which is heartwarming but bittersweet.Why? This gaslit Nintendo thinking they can only retell the first fucking game over and over again like some Groundhog Day and give it lame new stuff nobody ask for.Truth is that the remake's small success greenlit Shiggy's other reinvention of Star Fox on the Wii (which becomes Star Fox Zero on the WiiU) but even with his status there it couldn't come off the ground unless it can profit in some margin. It was basically some ideas guy's Star Fox title were he got access to the source code and did mostly fuck all with it.Btw the promotional anime has nothing to do with the game's actual plot, was just there to hook people to play and find out what's the shady deal. It's pretty good, I still prefer playing on N64 for the original graphics and voice acting and rumble but the 3DS remake is great
