What are the essential arcade games for you?What games excite you enough to make a trip?Is there a game for you where, if its missing, you know the arcade is crap?
The metrics are way different nowadays, if I want to play any classic games it's usually on some shitty under-maintenanced multi-cab. The places that don't use those for classic games are few and far inbetween, and usually isn't worth a whole trip unless they have rare deluxe cabinets as well.

Q*Bert whenever i see it and sit-down Sega stuff like Ocean Hunter and Lets go Jungle. Always must plays. Lost World was also one, but I own the board for it now and have a janky set up to play at home. I would also say the original Jurassic Park, but i haven't seen one since Chuckie Cheese in the 90s.

Any light gun game. Light gun games and air hockey are the only things worth paying for in an arcade. Fighting and racing games have zero appeal for me.Peak examples are Crisis Zone, House of the Dead 2, Time Crisis 3.

Star Wars is one of my favorite games of all time.The only game out now that I love playing as much as I did that one isCyberball. But it is too easy against the computer... my best game, whichcame after not playing it for 4 months was 127 to 0. Talk about an amazingevent! Has anyone ever done better than that? I would think that the maximumpossible would be about 150-160 points for one side when playing the comupter.BTW, the gam,e os much more difficult against peope only because the stupidthings that people do sometimes really mess you up.
