1993. Sonic the Hedgehog strode throughout Europe like a colossus, with petty plumbers walking under his mega-cool high-tops and peep out to find themselves in dishonourable graves. His first two games had gone down a storm, easily outselling the SNES, and his third platformer was eagerly awaited. With that success came lucrative licensing opportunities, and few were more lucrative (and none more beloved) than the UK's Sonic the Comic.

That's all for now - The (Bri'ish) Ride is a marathon, not a sprint. Will Shion undo the curse? Will Dark Guld be whole once more? Will Sonic ever stop shovelling junk food into his poorly-drawn gob?Find out the answers to these questions and more on Monday!
>>12287638You'll need it. The stretch of comic between adapting S3&K and Adventure is especially tough to sit through.
>>12287603i got this comic from the very first issue, i would have just turned 7 a month before this released, my mum used to get it every fortnight and would often reserve a copy, though i would sometimes miss one here and there if they were out of stock, i lost interest around 1998 as i was more into official playstation magazine, so stopped getting them.ive still got a bunch of comics in storage which were nice to flick through every so often, i found PDF's of all the comics though some are missing some pages due to pull out posters, still an interesting read as there are some great storylines that follow the plot of the games and gives more depth to them, the artwork gets better with time, a lot is very well done, two of the artists worked on AD2000 comics as well as marvel, sometimes they have different artists in to work on the strips and the art is not so kino.while this is mainly sonic there are other strips based on different sega games, some of my favourites were golden axe, shinobi and streets of rage.
>>12287778they truly suck
>>12287831sonic fucks this?!
The goofyness of the sonic sections ends soon enough with a time skip and as far as I recall, the first 50 issues, up to the defeat of robotnik, hold up and make a decent story.
Thanks op
