Thing is that it wouldn't be holding a charge at all and would be far more all over the place than it is right now. I've had it on for like 20-30 minutes before I made that post and it's still on right now at 20% battery. It stopped draining power like mad around 70% and has been fairly normal since then taking 4+ minutes per 1% now.

I'm going to fully discharge this thing and then try charging it to see if it's going to continue acting up like this. If it was truly faulty it would have been shutting off constantly like it was hours ago, I'd be having the same issues, and the same performance issues would be presenting themselves.

If the indication is wrong then it could be a software issue. I have a google pixel 4a and they released an update fucking up the battery in some models, unfortunately mine is one. The battery reading is wrong and the charge depletes in no time, so try wiping it and starting over perhaps.

I've got the old Trimui and it runs P3rd at x2 full FPS and runs Peace Walker at (full) 20fps with a few drops when multiple explosions are involved. That was by updating the emulator to version 1.18 I think which is beyond that of the old Crossmix build, but is also by reversing the 2000 MHz (?) overclock back to 1800.
It can't run Star Wars Unleashed though.

I'd like to think the new Smart Pro S should therefore be able to run at least those, but I've seen reviews saying that the Mangmi Air X is not insignificantly more powerful so maybe that's a good bet, though I've never had an Android HHG so not sure how that'll effect it all.

from what I've seen the latency between the screens is nearly imperceptible with the newer ones and the software patch they put out, something like 10-25ms of delay between the native display and the attachment. You've still got the base emulator delay (can hover anywhere between 20 to 150 ms depending on what you're doing, I believe) so it isn't on the same level as actual hardware but it shouldn't really feel any different than emulating on one screen if that feels fine to you

Certain games for me. Typically ones thay require a lot of quick and precision inputs. I played hollow knight on yuzu on my Odin 2 and could feel the input lag. I never got used to it either, I just adapted to it. Even beat em ups like double dragon on the gba kept buffering/eating inputs for me. Not always the case since the razer edge (2023) still has less input delay than the top screen of the thor and the odin 2 portal when they should be the same. Don't, anything beyond the spec dumps is wrong and stupid. Snapdragon G2 is significantly faster than the T820, but it's more expensive and widescreen. Non-base Thor has a comparable chip to the G2, the 8G2, but then there's the hinge headache. I don't know if the Snapdragons get any advantage with their GPU for Joiplay like they do with certain emulators, and that's the running problem for this topic, no one who knows their shit is interested in Joiplay.

Switch emulation has been all over the place since the start with Yuzu and Ryujinx having different levels of emulation quality and performance leading to you having to have multiple emulators installed with multiple game instances installed since some stuff works on it, some doesn't, etc. Even now it's still up in the air which fork is the best and you typically still need some secondary emualtor just for some random games that don't work. If you try doing something like the Yokai Watch translation patches or mods for the Pokemon games you'll see what I mean.

It doesn't have ass backwards bindings by default for one, their ES is way snappier, they update way more often. Problem with Rocknix on H700 specifically is that it's locked out from the proprietary GPU drivers and that has a severe performance toll on GPU accelerated stuff.

RA bindings, every chinkheld distro follows roughly the same hotkeys except Knulli, which is made worse by the whole hostility to just editing RA configs directly.

Yeah, everything but Rocknix is running libmali. IIRC, the devs couldn't scavenge a version recent enough to be compatible with mainline kernel.
