i would say cs 1.6 and maybe even source are just a tad bit better. due to the community servers with endless custom maps/gamemodes.

however, tf2 is kind of in a league of its own and really could be considered the best in a lot of ways.
had such a great balance between the characters, the game is absolutely amazing when played with good teamwork.

no ridiculous abilities like overwatch that turns the game into a meaningless unbalanced shitfest.

NTA but i've long accepted that the TF2 i loved is dead and is never really coming back. it's just a glorified chat room and asset depot for GMOD & SFM now.

the game and community changed significantly since it went F2P and introduced cosmetics not in the way >>12304070 describes it but changed all the same.
