I've been thinking about this recently and even asked the FPS thread yesterday, but their replies were mostly base games as if they haven't long since been surpassed by mappers
I'm not the biggest FPS player out there but these stood out to me:
Ashes 2063 for Doom, very Build-like level design. for now this is the best I've seen so far, but my range is limited
Blood, the base game is high quality enough but Death Wish supposedly surpasses it, not that I'd know since I'm waiting for 2.0 which will refine the level design even further
AMC Squad seems decent, an Anon mentioned Zeta Base from it specifically but it all seems high quality even if it's autistic as fuck
William Gee's work on Duke Nukem, the WG Mega Pack is meant to be really good
Doom naturally has a lot of good stuff. Ancient Aliens, Back to Saturn X, Auger;Zenith, Valiant, Eviternity, Lost Civilization, Going Down, Sunlust etc, there's a ton
Quake has the somewhat famous Arcane Dimensions
