>>12308286If there had been more of an actual progress of time in the classic series, it would have been neat to see Light upgrade Rock and Roll with more "adult" bodies sort of like in the American cartoon, especially as their own personalities developed more beyond basic machine behavior. Would have also shown a bit of the development between original Rock/Robot Masters and X that Light had been working on behind the scenes and that he wasn't just stagnating on robotics until he decided to make a next gen android. Could still work as a side game like MegaMan & Bass with a more intense plot against Proto-Zero or something with them having the ability to claim it non canon if they didn't want to tarnish the Saturday morning cartoon vibe of classic where the status-quo always remains.Alternatively, the Mega/Super forms from Marvel vs Capcom could have worked as Light needing to do quick upgrade body-mods for the siblings to take down a greater threat.
