If you're supposed to regularly swap the batteries in your devices, how come this January 2001 Duracel I just pulled out of my Perfect Dark (GBC) hasn't corroded?
>>12309707Pure luck at that point
>>12309707Idk but the Duracell I pulled from my Wii motion with built in + had corroded so bad that it fucked the controller
>>12309707Tell that to CPS2 boards
>>12309707What a dumb question.
>>12309707It did, but corrosion only manifests at the lowest power point in a system. So in this case that was your brain. Hence your ridiculous that kid logic shitpost.
>>12309707how young do you have to be to have never had a battery corrode inside a device in your life?
>>12309989Op is trolling with that pic. Gbc cartridges had lithium coin cell batteries that don't usually leak
>>12310638do you really disrespect my intelligence that much where you think im incapable of googling "perfect dark gbc" and using my eyes to see that the game has built in rumble which means it can accept a single AAA battery?
>>12310638Yeah you’rea dumb ass. Perfect dark and Pokémon pinball were bigger carts they fit a user-changeable AAA battery in them
>>12309839Happens to pinballs all the time too.
>>12309707You got lucky. If I leave batteries in a Wiimote for a few months without playing, they almost inevitable leak and I have to clean the terminals.
>>12309707>>12309768>>12309989>>12310638>>12310883Duracell has shitty seals, that leak more often. Switch to Energizer batteries. The difference is night and day. I've had Energizer batteries in shit like clocks and remotes for YEARS without so much as a drop leaked. I had a flashlight that I put Duracell's into and it completely ruined the flashlight with corrosive leakage after 5 months.
