it was a good game hampered by a pretty boneheaded move of forcing the player to switch to a flashlight instead of having it mounted to the character's helmet/suit like in half-lifeonce they fixed that in later versions the game is pretty much flawless

it's hilarious how divisive this game is. I'm a doom fan and loved Doom 1 + 2. I like doom 3, seeing it as a form of reinventing of a story to show off a really neat piece of technology. I loved it mostly because the collector's edition for xbox included a g4 icons episode and the original doom games.
