I am a big JGR (jet grind radio) ( we dont call it Jet set in america) (frick you) fan and excited to play JSRF for the first time.

I have literally never played an XBOX and likely never will. Thats the only console I ever "missed out on" (on purpose) until I stopped buying new ones after PS3.

Xbox is close but I think the psone is the comfiest CD based console.

My ranking is biased by nostalgia because SNES and psone are the consoles that were the most formative growing up.
I will give Xbox that of the consoles that had wired controllers, they were designed the best. Really long cords, a with a trip break. Which before wireless controllers would provide you with the comfiest gaming experience.
If we are talking about the comfiest way to play games PC or maybe a bucket seat arcade game . But PC gaming because it was done in PC nooks.

Are there any decent controllers I could buy new? The cables on my old ones are failing and I've never had much luck trying to repair cables. Should I just buy used and hope they are in good shape or would it be better to get an adapter and use a modern controller?

I was also looking forward to playing JSRF and found a bit disappointing, since I enjoyed JSR much more. Or maybe it's because I was younger when I played it, who knows.
