Dark gritty spinoffs are always kino, no matter the medium. It's practically a guarantee in quality. But developers and studios today are horrified of sincerity so they don't go for it.

Not in Army Men's case, that one sucked and playing it you can check how unfinished it feels (3DO's death and shit). Sarge Heroes played a bit better.

There is nothing good about this game, it was genuinely terrible just like all other army men games. The only "good' one is RTS

The gameplay is fucking terrible, people complain about the tone because it's surface level and easy to complain about without sitting down with the game, but the game is a glitchy, cumbersome slog.
