I just can't seem to find console games, and even most arcade games, that were before the NES era any fun.
So do most people , and for a good reason.
Yeah that's not exactly a bold take, there's a reason games before the third gen get almost no discussion here.

i agree about console games but arcades are fine. i grew up playing a bit of 2600 and colecovision and really the only game from that era that feels more "complete" would be something like montezuma's revenge. but i really have no desire to play those games again.
