OP here: I've never played the BG games, but I figured the novels would be at least standard D&D novel fare. You know, dropping lore at random intervals, decent fight scenes, that sort of thing.HOWEVER, I must confess I was a little confused by the constant half-elf cucking, and after doing the bare minimum of research it does appear that I've wasted my time and yours.
