I got my hands on a Retroid Pocket Classic and all of those reviews and demonstrations showing it unable to reach playable framerate in SoulCalibur III are wrong. I don't know if it's the emulator version (NetherSX2 4248) but for me it ran at 60 FPS with rare but sharp dips to sub-40 that were fixed by using patch codes to disable shadows. With those patch codes it runs at locked 60 the entire time. Other than that, I didn't tweak any emulator settings.

Just got my DSi XL. Upside: The picture is absolutely beautiful. It's definitely the best way to play DS games if you want them to look their best. The d-pad is also far superior to the regular DSi. Downside: it's far less comfortable than the regular DSi. It's comfier than the N3DS XL (it's less top-heavy), but it's still not something I'd use for long play sessions. Both the DSi-XL and N3DS-XL ideally require a 3D printed grips. It's a real shame all the Chinese clones went for the XL size. I'd ideally want a handheld about the same size as the regular DSi but with slightly larger screens that get rid of the bezels.

So H700 devices do not go into real deep sleep, it is better to make them take a save state and go off, and boot back into he save state if you want to pick up where you left.
