It's designed differently because it's an arcade game and not a PC game, but it's still a classic.My recommendation? If you want to enjoy Raiden II, enable extra lives, set up autofire, and go nuts with the purple plasma like I do. If you don't feel like configuring autofire in MAME, just play the PS1 version included with The Raiden Project. It's nearly a perfect port aside from the resolution.
