ENTER a whole new look for StC, and our pal Megadroid!
Shortfuse Origin Recap count: 2
EXIT Sparkster! There are a few theories as to why he didn't show up again: one story is that Konami just refused to give StC the rights for further stories, even though a sequel had been almost completed. Another is that Fleetway never had the rights to begin with, and just assumed they did because hey, Sparkster's on the Mega Drive. This led Konami to go "What do you think you're playing at? ... Fine, you can finish things up, but that's IT, you got that?"Either way, the Rocket Knight was done.

EXIT Kid Chameleon. Sadly, we'd never get the final showdown, although one could argue that the game itself was that showdown.
RE-ENTER these cunts
For anybody wondering, Champions was a Magic: The Gathering knock-off with a scratchcard gimmick. It lasted about as long as you'd expect.

>>12353818Fleetway's Metallix: basically Daleks but actually capable of doing shit.
>>12353937but tails is a girl
>>12354757Well, they can definitely go up stairs
>>12354003>Will Porker be alright on the Miracle PlanetThis is one of the things that really stuck with me from reading this comic as a kid.
>>12355149gay
>>12357350Yummy
>>12354000>Move the Palmtree Panic badniks to Green Hill to take on Sonic>Evacuate the Green Hill badniks when the Palmtree badniks exert their authority>Super-power the Green Hill badniks >have them fight the Palmtree badniks>relocate the surrendered Palmtree badniks back to Palmtree Panic>leave the new Super badniks in Green Hill>watch Sonic casually destroy the Palmtree badniks>wonder out loud whether the whole point of this story should have been Sonic fighting the Super badniks>the editor of the comic agrees before confirming that we are absolutely done with this messThis entire, stupid 4-part story
>>12358630Yeah, I have no fucking clue. I doubt anyone was really clamouring for the return of these chucklefucks to begin with. Real shame, because a story about the rank-and-file non-Badniks in Robotnik's forces could've gone in so many interesting directions.
>>12353991Sonipede is nightmare fuel.
>>12358645>Sonipede is QUALITYftfy
>>12357350that's the joke
>>12358636Love how there's no "hey kids, write in if you want see more of these guys!", like the editor absolutely did NOT want those letters. But yeah, I remember reading part 3 of this as a kid, and thinking a badnik war was a cool as fuck idea, always wondered how it turned out. Bafflingly, it seems.
>>12353832Wonder if these two pages were supposed to have more dialogue - odd to see STC Sonic go more than a panel without being a cocky dick, and it looks like there's planned space for text - but they realised it looked sick without any. Elson's art is amazing.
>>12360656iirc Marvel used to do similar stuff in the 60s, so odds are the chaps at StC had a similar idea
>>12359407You're a joke
