Just beat this today. It was OK and really quite creepy, but pretty slow up until the ending segment. Does anyone else have any opinions on it?
>>12356881How long is it?
>>12356965it's not that long but a guide is required and you must have a save state saved somewhere near the end (like 3/4 through) so you can actually unlock the different endings. in fact better to just make lots of save states throughout the game.it's unplayable on real hardware because you'll make the wrong choice while a monster is chasing you, save at the wrong place right afterwards unable to go back like i did, and lock you out of various endings unless you start all over which is too much of a chore
>>12356965My final playtime was about six hours, but I bumbled through a lot of it and you can easily do it in five if you’re smart about it. I beat it over three sessions. I’ve heard a lot of people say you need a guide, but I didn’t use one and the game was very beatable. You can get all three endings by saving at a certain point near the end and making some simple choices.
>>12356881I have very distinct memories of Japan only horror adventure games I never played. I think what happened is in the early 00s, I read some reviews for Japan only adventure games, since I was liable to never learn japanese and wanted to get a rundown of these games.
I was the first person to document and dump this game on the western side of the internet back in the late 00's, before that nobody knew it existed except on Japanese internet. It's funny the translation claims the original game has a glitch that can freeze the game but I played it a dozen times and it never happened to me so I'm fairly confident they're either full of shit, or the dump they used is faulty.Anyway the game is an okay mix between Echo Night and Clock Tower, but the action segments could have been more interesting.

That sounds like the timeline lines up with my memories. I read some kind of a walk through on some site in the 00s or very early 10s and it described this game in detail. It wasn't so much a review but a written walk though.
No. Good for you
>>12356993What an incredibly shitty and moronic way to play a game. This hobby is not for you.
>>12357621Someone's jealous!
