Just played this on MAME. I got to the 5th stage without dying even once and thought I might actually be able to 1cc it my first time (had only played the NES version prior) but man the boss of that stage kicked my ass. Must have died 5 times to him, then another 5 times to the stage 6 boss then 3 times to the final boss. First four bosses were insanely easy. Getting and keeping the nunchucks seems to help a lot. Anyway what do you guys think of this game? I remember the NES version being harder for me.
>>12357041It's a fun quarter-muncher with loads of nostalgia, but the NES version is the definitive version for me. It's featured in the film "Parenthood", so check that out sometime.
Also the women enemies of that game were hot and still are for a game of its era.
>>12357096That kid was such a whiner. He didn't even try at that game. Did he expect to beat the game in one try?>played bad dudes at the arcade in the mall the theater was located inThat's legit cool. That's something I'd do and then tell people about it for the rest of my life and no one but classic/retro dudes would care.
>>12357109Yeah. And I miss the yellow tents that Funtastic used to put out in the fairgrounds it operated in. They'd even have a guy with the quarter dispensers on his belt. I was a bit sad when he was replaced by the coin machines, oh how naive I was. Little did I know that it would all disappear in just a few years.
>>12357070>the NES version is the definitive version for me.Definitive version of the story. Everything after this screen is shit made by retards.
