The biggest issue with flashcarts is that they tend to suck more power and dramatically cut down the battery life. If the DSpico uses less power, it'll be a huge draw to it.

The only issue I found really was with how the UI is made with Nintendo key mapping in mind, so for instance when emulating MegaDrive, the console uses physical AB and X instead of C. It can be remapped however and Retro Arch recognizes Z and C as individual buttons so you can get proper 6 button layout and support.. Other consoles are mapped as you'd expect, although it can be disorienting if you expect A to be A when in practice A is B and B is A.PortMaster really does it for me though with how many PC ports are there to play.
