Spunky’s Dangerous Day, obviously.
New proto? And was this show even any good?
fuckin love me some sword of vermillion
>>12370979Yes, unreleased version. Never watched the show, was more into Ren & Stimpy.
>>12370963I recently used kega fusion was pleasantly surprised I could use my genesis mini 3 buttons on it
play Twinkle Tale
>>12371018Yeah, the emulator has really good compatibility.
>>12371047sometimes its a bit weird like the emulator keeps looking for buttons but theres only 4 of them so it gets wonkey
>>12370961There's a whole thread up for my favorite: >>12363578
>>12370967HOLY SHIT>HOLY SHIT
>>12370961It's a toss-up between Contra: Hard Corps and Shining Force.>>12371021>You wanted to be the little girl, right? Well, FUCK YOU. BALLS-TO-THE-WALL GAME IS WHAT YOU GET.
Super Fantasy Zone
>>12370961An unreleased Genesis port, is this available anywhere/been dumped?
based Fusion enjoyer.I still email Steve Snake occasionally, he wants to do an update to Fusion once he gets the time.
>>12371912>he wants to do an update to Fusion once he gets the time.awesome. Fusion's always been the most soulful MD emulator.
>>12371912Remind him that he never fixed the crash in 32X Pitfall's mine cart level that I wrote about on the forums.
>>12371912I've started using Blast-Em to test games now, but Kega is still my bread and butter emulator because nothing else bothers to emulate Sega CD or 32X. I also have a Mega Everdrive X5 that I've been playing pretty regularly As for myself, love Decap Attack, Haunting Starring Poulterguy, Vectorman 1, Panic On Funkotron, and Wonderboy In Monsterworld
>>12372142>Decap Attack>Vectorman 1>Panic On Funkotronall awesome choices. Decapattack was a huge favourite in the store kiosks here. The other two may be good too, I simply haven't played them.Check out Alisia Dragoon if you haven't, it'll probably be your new favourite. Really high quality game, lots of hidden routes, some RPG elements, and incredible music.
>Kega FusionZoomers will literally download deprecated software just to avoid learning how to navigate Retroarch
>>12372293I don't have to download it, I had it on my computer for 20+ years.
>>12372289>The other two may be good too, I simply haven't played them.Haunting Starring Poulterguy is, well, kind of hard to describe. You play as the ghost of a kid who got killed on a skateboard and are now trying to scare the shit out of the family that sold it to you. It's isometric and you can possess stuff to creep the fuck out of the familyWonder Boy In Monster World is a wonderful action rpg that kind of plays like Zelda 2. Very colorful for the time
>>12372310>Haunting Starring Poulterguy is, well, kind of hard to describe. I might check it out.>Wonder Boy In Monster World is a wonderful action rpg that kind of plays like Zelda 2. Very colorful for the timeI played its sequel, the one with Asha. It was nice, but only really memorable for the character design.
>>12372289Alisia Dragoon is great, the level with the tilted spacecraft is one of the coolest things on the MD. also, it's fun how the game has a screen clearing move and it doesn't feel overpowered because of how intense the fights can get.
>>12372346Monster World 4 is good, I think probably a bit overhyped, but it's fine. The Arabian aesthetic is enjoyable tooIDK, Wonder Boy In Monster World is one of those games where I have a big soft spot for it because it just feels relaxing and charming. It also has this storybook look to it with the design
>>12372356>it's fun how the game has a screen clearing move and it doesn't feel overpowered because of how intense the fights can get.If you use it point blank on bosses, it can one shot nearly all of them. I think only the stage 5-6-7 ones have enough health to survive it, and on stage 8 it can one-shot the mid-boss.
>>12370981I might actually play that again starting today. The dungeon themes will be stuck in my head for days.
Is that beta undumped? Got any more info about it, OP?
As a kid:Rocket Knight Adventures BoogermanThe Addams FamilyContra Hard CorpsTiny ToonsAll the sonic shit
>>12371568No.
>>12372376It’s been dumped, but not released.
>>12372379Boogerman is really underappreciated and I think a lot of that has to do with the gross out stuffI also remember renting Acme All-Stars as a kid, though I was not particularly good at it. Still thought it was rather funI'm kind of MEH on Sonic desu. The only games that I could actually consider my favorite were Mean Bean Machine and 3D Blast
>>12372421Boogerman is an average platformer with a distinct persona, nothing more. However it did have extremely good animation, I give it that much. Probably some of the best on the platform. For the gross-out stuff there's Beavis & Butt-head which was a cross between a platformer and a point'n'click adventure. It also had the most metal soundtrack this side of Thunder Force.
>>12370965>>12370961Is it earlier than the final SNES version?
>>12372643It’s almost complete, it seems.
>>12372421Boogerman was the game that sold me on the genesis as a kid since my local game shop had it in their demo kiosk all the time.
>>12370961For me? It's The Terminator by Virgin and Probe Software, it's 15min long, but man... those are some fun 15min, and it makes the whole thing very simple to pick up and play, also only having a single life makes me feel more like Kyle Reese actuall on the mission.
