>>12383227ah that demo, it gots several complains issues later in letters section at least in Spaniard edition. I mean Tekken 3 is the best videogame ever, but just one demo in CD is a bit tricky comming from psx europe.
>>12383035These models still hold up
>>12383253>thrill kill
>>12383198looks funny and easy.
>>12385194Blasto was meant to be this big multi-media franchise but the (iirc) the voice actor died and the game was so-so and as such this media franchise never developed.
>>12383186This issue is on 4chan archives:>Official UK PlayStation Magazine Football Special Storytimehttps://desuarchive.org/vr/thread/11771508/
It is hard to articulate for not knowers (be it they from the countries that cannot into football or are too young to have been there) just how mad bongs were for football in the 90's and the effect it had on their video game habits. You were looking at multiple quality titles each year every year as 3D really let them be represented in a way not possible previously. The likes of fifa really did shift hundreds of thousands of consoles on its own and not having good football games would relegate a console to an almost certain death in the market.
>>12385956Baddiel & Skinner have a lot to answer for. Fuck them and fuck their damn song>mfw my brothers played that song so much during the 2018 World Cup, that they started playing the fucking 1998 version
>>12385974No, anon, you will not make my ptsd resurface.
>>12383134one of the most fun, underrated and original games ever
>>12385956>just how mad bongs were for footballthis. its mostly autists that cry over the sport like american football fans. i liked football as a kid now dont give a shit.first football game i played was italia 90 on the megadrive which was top down view. fifa games brought more realism to it with a 3d look, and built on that with every years release.i remember fifa still being popular in the xbox 360 era, around this time hundreds of people would queue outside a local supermarket for the midnight release of the latest call of duty.just as many autists would also queue for fifa
>>12385974>Fuck them and fuck their damn songat least it was better than vindaloo, be thankful for that.
>>12386967Totally agree, the fun begins beyond FIFA and PRO. This is football, ronvaldo v-football, APS, liberogrande (the namco one) are really interesting and worthy games. In 32bits era you could get more thatn 5 games per genre from different developers it was a dream came true.
>>12385956Bongs are still mad for it, certain mouth breathers have their minds blown when you tell them you don't like football. I know many people who buy a console just for fifa or gta - idiots who are willing to spend 60 quid + on fifa whilst the bargain bin next to that is full of last year's fifa for a quid or less
>>12386967>>12387259/vr/'s roots as muh sekrit club gives this place a distinct anti-sportsball stance and massively overlooks how important football and handegg (and to a lesser degree other major sports games such as basketball, golf and cricket) have consistently been multi-million sellers for consoles. The dreamcast is a prime example - the decision by EA to not support it was a huge blow for the console and while not the only reason for it floundering it is a significant contributing factor. I would argue the N64's popularity in the west suffered because of more limited sportsball games as well. The difference between games like sensible soccer and fifa 96 is massive visually and that really drew in customers that only the leap to 3d could.
Thanks for effort-posting OP
>>12383035Appreciate your continual efforts OP
>>12383039Fuuckk anon I still remember that Messiah game hype, I don't remember if at the end came out or they delete the project?Because If I remember they was planning to change the name of the game
>>12385956The weird thing is that there still isn't any particular football videogame I would consider the best in the genre, not even the peak PES games from the early-mid 00s (because, for example, those games still lack newer features like 360 dribbling). Especially not as a videogame that has quite simply has good gameplay that anyone can appreciate. And of course right now if you were to ask people about which recent football videogame to play, there's loads of answers and its long past the "FIFA (now EAFC) versus PES (now eFootball)" debate that dominated the discourse for years. But meanwhile, handegg had Tecmo Super Bowl in 1991 which still holds up and I argue anyone can find its gameplay fun no matter how little interest one might have in handegg.
>>12383037Good ads, back then people work really hard and in a creative way.
>>12383205shame on british reviewers, Ayrton Senna didn't deserver this disgusting review, so out of touch and NOT classy. Shame one them.
