Tetris 2 + Bombliss is very good as far as 8-bit renditions go.

Tetris nerds will say the block generation isn't random enough but it does make for marathon multiplayer sessions. Tetris: The Grand Master is really fun if you're good at Tetris. Give it a shot on MAME or play the playstation romhack version. Tetris Battle Gaiden is one I've wanted to try for awhile. Game Boy Tetris sucks. I don't care how many copies it sold. NES Tetris is the definitive version of Tetris.
