why has no one made like a 2600 version of Warioware or something? no one wants to pay for 2600 games anymore because they're not that entertaining on their own, but if you could get the rights to like 100 random games (doesn't matter how bad they are as long as they have 5 seconds that are good) you could do something really engaging. you just have an emulator layer and a metagame layer and you inject stuff into the emulator state, seems pretty doable.

you're describing NES Remix
>>12390979your image for some reason started to activate what felt like an ancient memory but then it vanished
>>123909792600 refresh rate is too low
>>12390979They did. It was called Hot Pixel. Then they did it again on Switch with another game.
>>12391083those are just some sample para-grayscales from my custom 24-color palette which doesn't have many grays. with the presentation I agree they do feel very resonant somehow, I like the truncated oval style of swatches.
>>12391083MS Paint shape tool + fill as a kid perhaps?
>>12391113>Hot PixelIt has some of the vibes in certain games, but calling it 2600 WarioWare is a stretch.
