I don't know why this pisses everyone off so much. It's a good comparison. If I ever need to explain to a non-weeb why I grimace whenever I see the Banpresto logo on a game, "they're the LJN of Japan" is about as succinct an explanation I can give.

I've played Slayers RPG for the SFC and it was decent enough. Nothing spectacular, but it had its moments if you're a fan of the series. I wouldn't call it bad.
