So, did everyone just gloss over the fact that the "hero" of this story starts out murdering a dozen innocent people by burning them alive? It's not even ambiguous, they leave behind charred corpses that you can inspect.
>>12399456>Literally started it by trying to blow him up>innocentOkay
>trying this hard to find something to clutch your pearls about
>>12399478They were trying to blow up the crystal he was trapped in, they also assumed he was long dead. Only thing that's not clear is if they were just blowing up the crystal to mine it, or if they were trying to get what they assumed was a dragon corpse out to send it off to be studied. They weren't trying to kill him with the explosives.
>>12399456He saw his entire race being wiped out for no reason at all by a bunch of idiots right before being sealed and hidden away for hundred of years, only to be woken up by some guys armed with pickaxes.Besides, he only killed the ones who tried to capture him.
>>12399864Still, after he woke up, the miners attacked first. Ryu was just defending himself.
Heroes need stakes
He fries 6 in total, the first two attack him pre-battle (one throws a rock), the other two are the pickaxe/shovel pairs who block his path / attack him (unless he's faster). Everyone who does not outright attack him is spared.
>>12401330The first fight is the only one where they attack first, the others you can attack before they do. You can also go out of your way to go to a lower area where the only thing there is two more people you kill.
And the problem is?
>>12399456I believe the entire mine part can be skipped by dying. You have to attack yourself.
>>12399456That's literally the entire theme of the game, OP.
>>12399864>>12399478>>12399456dragons dindu. genocide le good when the evil humans try genocide you first.geddit, commie scum?
>>12399456If you don't attack, they attack him and he retaliates with firebreath. It was justified self-defense.
>>12399456DQ3 reference?
>>12403074Yes Ryu's is a dragon's quest.
