>Outsold Playstation>Outsold Nintendo>Some of the best arcade games ever made>Legacy is still remembered fondly despite its success primarily being in JapanIt's time to face reality, the Sega Saturn IS the definitive arcade home console.
Shit engagement bait thread
>>12400187I'm sorry you're jealous, but it's fact.
>Outsold PlaystationOP still stuck in 1996 kek
>>12400176How did a thread from a parallel universe got here?
>>12400217Idk, I wonder what else if different where op came from. Like are there flying cars yet?
>>12400176Radiant Silvergun is among, if not the best shmup ever made.
>>12400176>It's time to face reality, the Sega Saturn IS the definitive arcade home console. It still pisses me off how weak they are on 2D Beat em Ups. Golden Axe Revenge of Death Adder didn't get a port, nether did Taito's Dungeon Magic despite most other Taito F3 games getting ports. A lot of good beat em ups deserved 5th ports, Night Stalkers, Ninja Baseball Batman, Sailor Moon, Armored Warriors, Guardians and Violent Storm come to mind. Shame they never got a fraction of the love shmups and fighting games did.
>>12400176>every release is an arcade-style game with a short time limit>even the non arcade ports like Nights have a time limit playing the saturn is like having sex with someone who suffers from premature ejaculation
Hey that's great and all but if you had true enthusiasm for the console you'd make threads discussing games on the Saturn rather than how "definitive" it is.
>>12400280Wait you can talk about games on /vr/? I thought this was just a shitposting board.
>>12400282Act right retard.
>>12400275>playing the saturn is like having sex with someone who suffers from premature ejaculation“You oughta know, sweetie”
>>12400176>PlayStationEverybody knew this piece of shit was going to fail. It was the TurboGrafx all over again. And since we’re having a Saturn thread do you guys recommend getting a SegaNet subscription for my Sega Venus just to replay FFVII and Sonic X-Treme on the Saturn emulator? Maybe I’ll also play the first two Persona games since I missed them out as a kid.
>>12400217What would a reality look like in which Sega won?>Dreamcast comes out in 1999 with a powerful Nvidia GPU and a DVD drive, making the PS2 a joke>PSP competitor in 2005 using Xscale ARM CPU and ATi Imageon or Nvidia Goforce GPU (>Sega NextGen in 2006, custom PowerPC CPU and Nvidia/ATI GPU
>>12402213>It was the TurboGrafx all over again. So a retarded version of a system that was very successful and loved in the only place that mattered?
